Our courses

Our courses run in a wide variety of locations in Cardiff and Newport.  The type, location and length of the course very much depends on the needs of the participants as each course is tailormade to the individuals who take part.  This is why each individual fills out an ‘Individual Development Plan’ with a member of the Switched On Project team when they first get involved with the project, and from these we can devise and implement an appropriate course alongside our Tutors, Support Workers and Volunteers.  The types of courses we can run include learning to use computers, social interaction in English, reading/ writing, confidence building, gentle exercise for the over 50s, plus a whole lot more.  If a creche facility is needed then the Project can fund this where possible.

The courses are free for the participants.
