CASH – The Huggard Centre – A new netgear ADSL router has been fitted for better network stability. Net nanny needs to be installed on the computers for obvious reasons.

CGTP– Switch computers are installed ready for networking. two more computers to install next week. An ADSL wireless modem router has been fitted this month so that the whole office can be networked. Awaiting new office machines.

Loudoun Square CC – Speakers and microphone have been purchased for the Taster day 30th May.

Slipper Baths – May 23rd Slipper Baths taster Day, IT taster i.e. Internet, sewing, Afro Caribbean culture.

BAWSO – I have installed a wireless netgear box in the centre, some experimentation needs to be done in order to ascertain its usefulness.

MENFA – 1 computer formatted and ready to install. Hopefully workbench will be fitted but still waiting.

BHATRA SIKH CENTER – Web page to do, Jas has given me some of the photographs and text for the site. Jas has also done the Punjabi translation for the Switch web site. And has been placed on the web site.
The wireless aerial has been installed. I have booked Richard Wenner in for Monday 2nd June 2.0 clock, to fit the Ayava wireless box.

Switch Steering Group Meeting. – Revue day booked for June 5th 10.00am@ the Yemeni Centre. The venue will run until about 16.30.

Somali Centre – Phoned Abdi about printing over the network as they had some problems. Done

Barry College: - Finalising a Macromedia Contribute course for Switch Steering Group members.

Resource Centre: - £ new Dell computers have been installed on the Broadband network, this enables more clients to take up ongoing basic IT courses.
The Website development is ongoing.

MEWN CYMRU: - Nothing to report

Somaj Centre: - Barry College are sorting out new courses for the centre.
A new floppy drive has been fitted in one of the Dell computers.
2 new keyboards have been issued as the existing ones were worn.

All Wales Saheli Ass – Has just come on board, I have installed 3 new Dell 2.0gig computers with networked broadband access. Istill have their office to network.
