CARDIFF GYPSY TRAVELLER PROJECT

 

CGTP is a small charitable voluntary organisation set up in 1981 following discussions between Gypsies and Travellers, Councillors and voluntary organisations in Cardiff. These identified the need for a Gypsy Liaison Officer (GLO) to act as a link between the Gypsy and Traveller community, the Local Authorities and the wider community.

Core funding has been provided by the Local Authority from the onset and over the years major additional funding has been attracted for specific projects.
