About the project
The Switched On Project is a supported learning and skills development programme working in areas of Cardiff and Newport.
It is funded by the Big Lottery and the lead organisation is the Novas Scarman Group. Members of our team are also based in Menfa and Sewrec, and we work with a huge variety of partner organisations based in communities in Newport and Cardiff.
Our approach is to work in partnership with these organisations to help people in the community in an individual, innovative and flexible way. The Project specifically aims to work with people who face many different barriers to mainstream jobs and
learning and who need extra support.
The Switched On Project can provide flexible informal learning programmes and personal support which provide participants
with improved skills, confidence and general life skills.
